Welcome to the 74th Annual Conference of IAPM & IAP-ID
Indian Association of Pathologists & Microbiologists (IAPM)
Dear esteemed members of IAPM,
The Indian association of Pathologists & Microbiologists (IAPM) is the premier professional body of Pathology: established in 1949 & completed it’s platinum jubilee in 2024. It serves as a platform for academic exchange, research and diagnostic advancements.
The annual conference ‘APCON’ is it’s flagship event for professionals in pathology & microbiology, featuring workshops, orations, CMEs, slide seminars & research presentations by young brilliant pathologists. Every year it stands as the most awaited event for pathologists & reflects a continuous commitment to excellence with growth of pathology community across decades & generations.
As India’s oldest & most respected conference in pathology & microbiology, it carries a proud legacy & is most attended by members of IAPM. After successful completion of APCON 2025, we are looking eagerly at APCON 2026 – the 74th annual conference of IAPM, to be hosted at the vibrant city of Coimbatore “The Manchester of South Asia.” The organising committee headed by Dr. Srinivas & Dr. Shanthakumari have started working hard to make this a memorable one. The registration fees have been thoughtfully decided to suit our pocket & the early registration slab is kept at the same price as earlier.
The central academic committee is determined to inculcate a scientific program to be beneficial for both senior legends & brilliant residents. It is designed to unravel an integrative, multidisciplinary approach from phenotypes to genotypes. The emphasis is laid on the choices of next gen with inclusion of dedicated young pathologists’ sessions to be moderated & participated by them.
As President of this prestigious association, I feel honoured & privileged to welcome you all in large numbers to this august event & wish the organising committee a huge success & a great experience.
Let’s join hands in making this APCON an unforgettable one.
