The Dr VR Khanolkar Prize is one of the most prestigious awards of IAPM for published research work.
The contest for this prize is open to all members fulfilling the following criteria: a) Age of the applicant should be below 45 years on 31st July for that particular year (age proof to be provided). b) The research work submitted should have been carried out in India. c) The above research work should have been published in the preceding two years.
The principal author shall submit: a) Covering letter indicating the IAPM Membership number. b) Certificate from all authors certifying that this research work has been carried out in India and this work has not received any other award. c) Certificate from the co-authors (if any), attesting and supporting the candidature of the principal author. d) His / Her brief biodata.
In case the applicant is a postgraduate or senior resident, there should be letter from Head of the Department/Dean stating that the applicant is eligible for the award.
Pdf format of the published paper is to be submitted to the Secretary IAPM.
The publication will be judged by a panel of three judges to be approved and appointed by the President/Honorary Secretary, IAPM.
The award may be shared by more than one paper if so adjudged or no prize may be given if no entry is found suitable.
The award carries a certificate and prize money of Rs. 25,000.00 that will be distributed during APCON of the following year.
The Smt Kunti Devi Mehrotra Award is another prestigious award given annually for published research work.
The award is open to all members fulfilling the following criteria: a) The applicant should be below 50 years of age on 31st July for that particular year (age proof to be provided). b) The research work submitted should have been carried out in India. c) The above research work should have been published by the contesting member as the first author in the preceding two years.
The principal author shall submit: a) Covering letter indicating the IAPM Membership number. b) Certificate from all authors certifying that this research work has been carried out in India and this work has not received any other award. c) Certificate from the co-authors (if any), attesting and supporting the candidature of the principal author. d) His / Her brief biodata. Pdf format of the published paper is to be submitted to the Secretary IAPM.
The publication will be judged by a panel of three judges, one nominated by the family of Smt. Mehrotra and two by the President/Honorary Secretary, IAPM.
The award may be shared by more than one paper if so adjudged or no prize may be given if no entry is found suitable.
The award carries a certificate and prize money of Rs. 15,000.00 that will be distributed during the APCON of the following year.
Is given to the best paper presented by a life Member of IAPM during the plenary session of APCON. The award for this prize is open to all members fulfilling the following criteria:
There is no age restriction.
The research work should have been carried out in India.
The principal author should submit:
Covering letter indicating his/her IAPM Membership number.
Certificate from all authors certifying that this research work has been carried out in India and this work has not received any other award.
Certificate from the co-authors (if any), supporting the candidature and eligibility of the principal author.
In case the applicant is a postgraduate student or senior resident, there should be a letter from the Head of the Department/Dean stating that the applicant is a bonafide student / employee of the Institute and eligible for the award.
His/Her brief biodata.
Valid Age proof must be attached.
The paper must be submitted as a full-length text of their search work to be presented in the for of a blinded manuscript for publication with photographs embedded at the end of the write-up. The manuscript should be blinded with no mention of author attachment name, place of work or Institution and must be sent as soft copy only.
The submitted paper will be initially scrutinized by a panel of referees selected by the President/Secretary, IAPM for its presentation at the plenary session. A maximum of five papers will be finally selected for presentation. The total time allotted is 10 minutes with 7 minutes for the presentation followed by 3 minutes of Question/Answer session.
If the paper is not selected, it will be submitted for the Oral free paper session by the Secretary with due notification.
If none of the presentations are found suitable no award shall be given.
A prize money of Rs. 20,000.00 and certificate will be presented to the winner during next year’s APCON inauguration program.
The award is given to the best presenting paper during the plenary session of APCON. The award is open to all members fulfilling the following criteria:

The research work submitted should have been carried out in India.

Certificate from all authors certifying that this research work has been carried out in India and that this work has not received any other award.
Certificate from the co-authors (if any), supporting the candidature and eligibility of the principal author.
In case the applicant is a postgraduate student or senior resident, a letter from the Head of the Department/Dean stating that the applicant is a bonafide student/employee of the Institute and eligible for the award.

Additional Requirements:
Conference registration is mandatory for the presentation.
The paper must be submitted as a full-length manuscript of the research work, with photographs embedded at the end.
Submit separate PDF files for the covering letter, certificates from all co-authors, HoD letter, age proof, title page, and the manuscript.
The manuscript must be blinded with no mention of author name, place of work, or institution.
Process & Selection:
Submitted papers will be initially scrutinized by a panel of referees selected by the President/Secretary, IAPM.
A maximum of four papers will be selected for presentation in the plenary session.
Total time allotted: 10 minutes (7 minutes presentation + 3 minutes Q&A).
If the paper is not selected for the plenary award, it will be moved to the Plenary Oral Paper Session with due notification to the author.
A prize money of Rs. 10,000.00 and certificate will be presented to the winner during next year’s APCON inauguration program.
