It is with great pleasure that we extend a heartfelt invitation to you to join us in Coimbatore, the “Manchester of South India”, for the 74th Annual National Conference of the Indian Society of Pathology and Microbiology – APCON 2026. This distinguished event will be hosted by the Department of Pathology, PSG Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, and will take place on its prestigious campus from 02–06 December 2026.

This year’s conference is centered around the theme, “Where Diagnostics Evolve and Personalised Care Begins.” APCON 2026 aims to highlight the evolving role of pathology in advancing precision medicine and enhancing patient care through innovation and integration of modern technologies.

Coimbatore is renowned for its pleasant climate and unique blend of industrial growth and natural beauty. Situated on the banks of the Noyyal River, it serves as a gateway to the Western Ghats and the picturesque Nilgiris, including popular hill stations like Ooty. The region is also home to scenic waterfalls such as Kovai Kutralam and lush forests rich in biodiversity.
